Ken Shaw has been active in real estate development, operations and management for over 30 years through association with Lincoln Property Company, Jackson-Shaw Company (and affiliates), American General Hospitality, Inc. and JSC Realty & Investment Services, Inc. With Jackson-Shaw, Ken served as a Managing General Partner and Executive in numerous entities or affiliates that developed approximately 4,000,000 square feet of commercial/industrial property, 2,000 hotel rooms and established commercial property management/brokerage and hotel management affiliates. American General Hospitality, Inc., co-founded by Ken Shaw in 1980, merged with another hotel company in 1998. The new entities - MeriStar Hospitality and MeriStar Hotels and Resorts and or their successors were publicly traded companies listed on the NYSE. In 1990 Ken and his partner, Jay Fitzgibbons, started JSC Realty & Investment Services having purchased the Brokerage and Property Management portion of the business from a local development company. More recently, Ken along with his partners have developed their own industrial real estate projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, and El Paso, Texas. In addition they have been active in industrial, retail and residential land investment. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Texas and a former CPA, employed by Arthur Anderson & Company in Dallas. He is a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. He and his wife Carole, have three children. |
